No if we get cornered we threaten to put our knife through the book. That's the only thing I can think of, hiding it will get us tortured

Well, these zombies were worse than we thought. Also, she only said for a few to search the forest while everyone else searches the town. Let's get out of this town.

Also, we should keep the book because Joyride will probably have some insight on it.

Do a perception check on what's best way to get out of the outpost and into the woods without being seen.

Fuck me I don't know
The outpost is next to the woods, are the people looking for us using any light sources? Maybe we could watch them make a sweep and move into the woods when they seem clear of the area immediately next to the woods.

Let's quietly take all the paper that you said was up here, too. Kindling for our bonfire.

Just stay low and hope for the best. An invisibilty potion that we don't have right now would be really handy...

>"What the- Hey, wait! Stop!" The creature cries as Emerald bolts past him.
My curiousity wants to know what they had to say, but I don't even begin to fault Emerald for not wanting stick around and find out. Stupid bell ringing zombie.

I think this might be a good idea, though hopefully it doesn't even come to that point, cause if we are at that point we're probably fucked.

Is there anything up there we can use to start a fire? We could set fire to the outpost when we make our escape, and force them divert some of their manpower to putting the fire out

Well that certainly makes sense.

I wonder what's in the book then. It's obviously not the soul of that zombie in the basement.

Whatever it is probably shouldn't be let out, but why is it even locked up? Lady Elegance obviously doesn't seem to care about it if it was just sitting there in that place like that.

Hmm, I actually can't imagine they'd really care about it. But that's just my gut feeling.

In that case it'd be less of a distraction, but still a distraction. They might care if it runs the risk of spreading to the chapel

Let's hide and watch the zombies carefully. Do a perception check on the woods can we make it there without being seen?

Emerald surreptitiously peers over the side of the outpost to see what the zombies end up doing. There is more than a dozen of them, and they break off from each other, a few heading towards the forest, while others wander around the ruins of the town.

Emerald sees a new person enter the pack, and with a shock realizes it's the raisin-like body that was in the basement of the church.

"Fair Lady, what is happening? I was having such a lovely nap when your roar roused me." The corpse says in a raspy voice.

"My apologies for waking you sir, but it seems we have an intruder." The large cloaked undead says, standing a little higher and gazing all around.

"Oh, that would explain why my key is gone." The new body says, holding up the cut chain that Emerald sliced, "As is the holy book."

"An intruder and a thief." The one called Lady Elegance says looking down at the smaller corpse with a slight growl.

"Shall we alert Lord Sepulcher?" The dried up husk of a body says.

"Yes, once we have something to report. I wish not to disturb him now however, he is working."

What does Emerald do?
