I walk back out of the room to check on Sparkle-- She's still making an effort to stay awake, her head falling ever so slightly every few seconds.
"You okay there?"
"I just need somewhere to sleep." She whines, her voice weak, then jokes, "You don't think we'll find another way in down here, don't you?"
It takes me a moment to remember which door she is speaking about-- the one above that, I promised, we'd use if there wasn't another way in there. I nod as noncomitally as I can and slide back into the passageway.
There's a few other boxes down there, with blocks of something similar to bread in them, and a door with a pickax buried in it that is half covered by the porous stone of this place.

I return for the shovel and feel it's weight for a moment before heading back to the half buried door, then turn around back to the boxes with camping gear above.
A shovel might make a good weapon, so I make a workable harness with some rope before going down again and digging.
There is something written on the door, but I can't recognize the language.

I go for the paper and pen and, as carefully as I can, copy the writing on the door to it. It's odd, but when I am done I get the feeling the lines are actually delineating a circle despite being square.
I turn around, shovel ready, when I hear stepping, but I see it's only the dark gray creature from before, her green eyes still exuding some sort of vapor.
"What are you doing?"
She ignores me completely and -still cowering, as if she didn't want me to see her face- takes the paper from me and, after watching what I copied for a moment, turns it around to write on the other side, "Unicorn is bad."
"Sparkle?" I ask, confused.
She writes frenetically, "Everything is wrong. You are wrong. I am wrong."

Paused.

"You still haven't told me which unicorn." I stop her before she keeps writing, "Do you mean Sparkle? Or the things on the floor above? About... putting horns on people?"
The creature pauses for a moment before writing, "Sparkle. Twilight Sparkle. She made it wrong. And now it's wronger, and it must be her fault."

"I'll keep an eye on her, but I don't think she's lying to me." I shake my head, "Have you seen her face. She remembers just as little as I do."
She shakes her head sadly and, after a moment's hesitation, walks off the room, head low.

Something came up and kept me from starting with the next pic until a few minutes ago, so next update will take some time and, if it's today at all, be the last in this session.

Most of it looks like mathematical formulas-- there isn't any number I can recognize, but some of the symbols remind of of high level arithmetic I saw... somewhere.
The glyphs on top are unrecognizable at first, but they seem to rearrange themselves in front of my eyes until they are clearly written Equiish:
>Was there any kindness -or even honor- in your heart, you wouldn't interrupt my teacher's slumber.

The other plaque has different formulas, and the text that forms in front of my eyes is different:
>Nimrod's life was two things. That of a wife, a life ended all too soon, and that of a scientist and teacher, which blissfully wouldn't ever leave her.
>Like you taught us, grand master, we bury you with and within your greatest research: The knowledge to create space within itself, and with it make a bridge to our dreams.
>Fare thee well in whatever might lay beyond, Arcanist Nimrod.
I notice a shadow after reading it-- a door at the other side of the waterfall, but I am not sure if the waterfall won't drag me down if I try to cross it.

I turn around to grab a stick and almost crash against a dragon, who dodges me with liquid ease. "Applejack? What in Tartarus are you doing here?" He asks, his eyes darting around the room as I step away from him, "Is this still Surane? Where is Twiligh-- Oh, damn, DAMN," He grabs me by the shoulders, and when he lifts me I notice there's some writing on the dirt under the trees. "Applejack, where in Tartarus is Twilight!"
